'When you get into the box, you just want to find the net. This time I can't completely rejoy with my performance, as I missed a late winner. Of course I'm happy with my goal, but joy and regret balance each other out, also because Parma didn't make their three points'.
He has no doubts about his goal: 'I didn't handle the ball, I just controlled it with my chest. Criticism is groundless'.
The Romanian, however, agrees with the full score… 'The draw was the fair result. Parma didn't made a great display: we scored just when Piacenza were threatening and then we were not able to hold when we were ahead. It was a pity, but we deserved it'. His analysis of the game: 'We suffered very much in the first stages. We didn't expect such a start. But this point is important: it's a little step forward, after two defeats. We needed it to move the standings'.
Next Saturday Parma will face Empoli. 'We must win? I'm pleased you always want us to give it our best shot. We need some tension. However, I can assure, we always play to win'.
