Prandelli: 'Mutu is doubtful'


The Gialloblu trainer is not sure if the Romanian will be available for tomorrow's match: 'Today Adrian will try with his teammates and tomorrow morning after the refinement session, we will decide with the doctor what to do.'

  • COLLECCHIO- Mutu is doubtful for Parma. The player is suffering from fatigued muscles and Cesare Prandelli is still uncertain if he will be availible for the match against Modena. 'Today Adrian will try with his teammates and tomorrow morning, after training, we will decide with the doctor what we shall do. At this point the decision is the doctor's, but if he feels bad we don't want to risk. About the possible substitutions, Prandelli states: 'I have prepared Bresciano and Gilardino. This week I have tried both in different situations and I will decide in the last moment. Then of course we will see how the match goes...'
    Cesare Prandelli spoke about the match last Sunday evening: 'The guys are aware of what they did at Perugia and the statements that they have made in the last few days have demonstrated that they have interpreted the match well. The team played with great determination.'
    Cesare Prandelli underlined: 'In this moment what matters is the result. That is our first objective for the match tomorrow against Modena. I want a concrete Parma, that thinks of winning and nothing more. They are three important points for our season.'

    Cesare Prandelli spoke about Modena's good period: 'In the last few matches they have shown that they are on the rise. Against Chievo they closed all the spaces and did not allow the opponents to shoot. This is surely a significant point for Chievo because in every match they have been close to the goal at least three or four times.'
    Of the 'Canarini' group, Cesare Prandelli mentioned two names: 'Camara? He is a great player at moving in the open spaces and if we allow him the possibility to take off quickly, he can be very dangerous. We have to be aware, also of Milanetto. He is very good at giving his teammates long passes and he could catch us off guard. Modena are most dangerous as a group.'
