Juve wins
(Parma-Juventus 1-2)

A Sunday to forget for Parma who were defeated on their home soil at Tardini Stadium by Juventus. Two to one was the final score with goals by the ex' Gialloblu, Di Viao and Tacchinardi. Parma mangaged a splendid goal by Adrian Mutu

When Juventus entered the field at Tardini Stadium, the spectacular began. This time however the emotions were generated mostly by the fans who at the end of the first half could not help Parma find the goal.
Either side only managed three shots on goal each. Juve capitalized on two, while Parma could only find the back of the net at the end of regulation as Mutu whistled a spectacular shot to the left of Gigi Buffon.
Juventus managed to get on the score board after thirteen minutes of play thanks to a goal by Di Viao who headed a winner past Frey. Juve doubled their advantage at the end of the first half with a goal by Tacchinardi.
In the second half of play, Parma was more on the attack, with outstanding play by Mutu who managed a goal off a free-kick.
Parma suffered their first loss of 2003, their third of the season after Chievo and Inter. Alessandro Rosina, of the Primavera squad, made his debut for the first squad.
