BERGAMO- After the zero-zero result of November 10, when Parma held Manacini's Lazio side at Stadio Olimpico, Cesare Prandelli's squad earned today their second goalless draw of the Campionato, against Atalanta. It was a match played mainly in the midfield.
The Bergamasca side forced Sebastien Frey to only make one dangerous save (in the 23'of the first half off a shot by Vugrinec) while the forwards of Parma came close to the Atalanta goal on a number of occassions, especially in the second-half of play: Adriano hit the cross-bar in the 13' of the second half, when Taibi made a difficult punch-save off the Gialloblu attempt.
