Hard fought draw
(Como vs Parma 2-2)


Parma managed a draw with Como on the neutral pitch of Piacenza this afternoon. It was a hard fought match that saw Parma with the advantage early on. Como then struck off the boot of Amoruso and a missed penalty by Caccia meant they could only manage a 2-2 draw. A goal by Paolo Cannavaro in the 47' of play was disallowed due to offsides

PIACENZA- The battle waged between Como and Parma on the 20th day of league play was an incredibly hard fought match. On the neutral pitch of Piacenza the Gialloblu formation earned a 2-2 draw today in front of their fans who turned out in large numbers to stadium Garilli.
At the 30' mark, Parma had the advantage thanks to a made penalty kick by Adrian Mutu and an incredible penalty save by Frey off the shot by Caccia, who later managed to score. But Fascetti's side were in grand form and managed to gain the 2-1 advantage off of a fantastic ball from Carbone to Amoroso. Parma were finally able to bring the game back to even ground thanks to another penalty shot by Mutu. With time running out, Paolo Cannovaro snuck a shot past Como goalie Brunner, but the play was called dead by an offsides whistle.
